The boat trip for couples, anniversary nights and anyone who's already had a long beach day. Three hours, one swim stop, sunset over the islands.

Three hours, one swim stop, the bay turning gold and then pink and then deep blue. The Fethiye sunset cruise is the boat trip for guests who want the magic without the all-day commitment — and it's the one we recommend most often as a second boat day after the morning 12 Islands cruise.

Why this is its own thing

Fethiye Bay is one of the few south-coast bays where the sun actually sets over water and small islands rather than into a hill behind you. From the deck you watch it drop behind the Twelve Islands while you're sipping something cold. It's not a long boat — three hours total — but every minute is the right kind of minute.

Programme

  • 16:00–16:30 hotel pickup (Fethiye, Çalış, Hisarönü, Ölüdeniz)
  • 16:30 boarding at Fethiye marina
  • 17:00 sail out to a quiet bay
  • 17:30 swimming stop with a snack served on board
  • 18:30 sailing toward the islands as the sun lowers
  • ~19:30 sunset on the bow deck
  • 20:00 return to marina, hotel transfer back

Practical info

Sails Wednesdays and Sundays. About 4 hours from pickup to drop-off. Hotel transfer, snack and tea/coffee/water are included. Beer and wine sold on board.

Price

Adult and child €70. Same boat as the morning cruise, but the atmosphere is completely different — fewer guests, no schedule pressure.

Best for

Couples, anniversary nights, parents with older kids who want a calm evening, anyone who already did a long beach day and doesn't want to spend another full day on the water. If you want a fuller swimming day, take the 12 Islands morning cruise instead.

What to bring

Swimsuit and towel (it really is worth jumping in at the swim stop), light layers — the breeze on the way back picks up. Camera. If you want a sunset glass of wine, bring cash for the bar.

Booking

Same two days a week, smaller capacity, books up faster than the morning. Reserve the sunset cruise a few days ahead and we'll confirm pickup time the night before.
